Belltown Bride began as a glimmer in my eye in 2002 when I was looking for my own wedding gown.  Unimpressed with the local selection, I decided to shop while on business travel back east.  With good luck and good timing, I was able to find a gorgeous sample designer wedding dress.  I knew immediately that other Northwest brides would love to have the option of couture designer gowns for affordable prices. I began to put together Belltown Bride, which opened its doors in the summer of 2007. 

Since then, we’ve introduced thousands of brides to spectacular couture designer gowns unavailable anywhere else in the region and we’ve provided them with a fun, comfortable and personalized shopping experience.  Our formula – extraordinary dresses with average prices and superior customer service – continues to work well and we will still be bringing you those unforgettable sample gowns for unbeatable value. 

A sample gown is one that has been tried on but never worn by a bride and never altered, usually from the past few seasons.  At Belltown Bride, we have hundreds of professionally cleaned and detailed sample gowns ready to go home with you. With only one of each particular dress, inventory changes constantly. As well, sizes are usually limited to street size 8 and smaller.

After handling thousands of designer samples, we realized that they don't work for every bride and decided to bring in a custom order line.  Amy Kuschel's clever couture was an obvious choice for our brides and we are thrilled to offer them.
