Q: How far in advance should I order my gown?
A: Most gowns take on average 4-5 months to come in, then alterations typically take 4 to 8 weeks, so we advise having your gown ordered at least 6 months in advance of your wedding day.

Q: What sizes does Belltown Bride carry?
A: We carry a variety of sizes for every bride, and bridal sizing follows different rules than day to day or even other formal wear. Let us know your normal dress size and we will know how to fit our gowns to you.

Q: What is Belltown Bride’s price range?
A: Our gowns run, depending on designer, from $1500 to $6500. We occasionally offer sample gowns off the rack for under $1500. Please refer to our Designers page for more information.

Q : Do I need an appointment to try on gowns at Belltown Bride?
A: Yes, we are by appointment only, Wednesdays through Sundays from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm. Please click on our Book Appointment button to send in a appointment request. 

Q: How long does an appointment last?
A:  We will schedule your appointment for 60 minutes. 

Q: How does the payment process work?
A: We collect offer a number of payment options including cash, check, or credit card. 

Q: Are alterations included in the price?
A: No, alterations are not included in the price of the gown. Bridal alteration costs can vary significantly based on the gown. Standard alterations from a bridal seamstress should include bringing in the gown as needed, finishing the hem, adding a bustle, and building in cups. We will also provide our brides with a list of recommended seamstresses.
